I've always wanted to do one of these. Go easy on me, blogger-virgin. Let's see what to blog about, your hair, your new costumes, your interests or wonderfully exciting life. None of that in my life is ever interesting enough... BUT NOW has become a little more riveting since accidentally falling into a business partnership with a Traditional Chinese Doctor!

Dr Yuan... First meet, small, mid-40s, Chinese man... He was quiet, antique obsessed, frugal, happy with a thirsty mind for more knowledge everywhere he goes. Intrigued, interested by everything England showed him. In all honest truth, I couldn't understand a word he was saying! I can't speak Chinese, his English was minimal unless talking about antiques or medical things. And his accent was impossible! He has only been in England a few years but his English in only 10 months has come in leaps and bounds.

I've punched my feet through the mud with Dr Yuan, constantly learning from each other as we've gone. We opened up our very own traditional Chinese medicine shop together back in October 2012. I do the business, he does the acupuncture.

I went in to the business blind, never opened up a business before, never worked in a retail shop before but trusted Dr Yuan. Shock of my life when I realised he was a miracle worker. Some of the things you wouldn't believe. CEREBRAL PALSY, BRAIN PARALYSIS?!?!! (Before and after pictures above) Dr Yuan has done things I wouldn't even dream impossible just through acupuncture and Chinese herbs.

Modest. Ever so modest. He fails to mention he worked in a hospital in China for 16 years doing all of this stuff, training up them doctors in hospitals which do this every day! He has been in the field for over 22 years and teaches me something special almost all the time. The Western doesn't know what it's missing!
